Educational Psychology in Practice aims to publish refereed articles representing theory, research and practice which is of relevance to practising educational psychologists in the UK and beyond. In its focus on applied psychology it occupies an important complementary position to those journals which emphasise the experimental work of academic psychologists. Whilst the majority of articles submitted to the journal are written by practising psychologists in the UK, submissions are welcomed from outside the profession and from outside the UK.

The journal promotes an interdisciplinary approach, reflected in articles which report major pieces of research, debate issues, detail project evaluations, note research, and describe aspects of professional practice.

Educational Psychology Review

Educational Psychology Review is an international forum for the publication of peer-reviewed integrative review articles, special thematic issues, reflections or comments on previous research or new research directions, interviews, and research-based advice for practitioners - all pertaining to the field of educational psychology. All publications provide breadth of coverage appropriate to a wide readership in educational psychology and sufficient depth to inform specialists in that area.

Instructional Science

Instructional Science is an interdisciplinary refereed scholarly journal aimed at promoting a deeper understanding of the nature, theory and practice of the instructional process and of the learning to which it gives rise. The journal’s conception of ‘instruction’ is broad-based, recognising that there are many ways to stimulate and support learning. Papers published in recent years represent a wide variety of perspectives from the learning sciences. The journal covers learning by people of all ages, in all areas of the curriculum, and in informal as well as formal learning contexts.

Although the journal occasionally publishes review articles, strong preference is given to reports of original empirical research and the journal is unusual in giving space for full and detailed reporting of major studies. While studies focussing on learning processes, learning technology, learner characteristics and learning outcomes are welcome, papers published in the journal all make an explicit contribution to the science of instruction by drawing out the instructional implications of new research on learning.

The main purpose of the Journal of Educational Psychology^® is to publish original, primary psychological research pertaining to education across all ages and educational levels. A secondary purpose of the Journal is the occasional publication of exceptionally important theoretical and review articles that are pertinent to educational psychology.

Learning and Instruction

The Journal of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI). As an international, multi-disciplinary, peer-refereed journal, Learning and Instruction provides a platform for the publication of the most advanced scientific research in the areas of learning, development, instruction and teaching. The journal welcomes original empirical investigations. The papers may represent a variety of theoretical perspectives and different methodological approaches. They may refer to any age level, from infants to adults and to a diversity of learning and instructional settings, from laboratory experiments to field studies. The major criteria in the review and the selection process concern the significance of the contribution to the area of learning and instruction.

Electronic Journal of Research in Educational Psychology

The Electronic Journal of Research in Educational Psychology (Revista Electrónica de Investigación Psicoeducativa) está editada conjuntamente por la Universidad de Almería, la Empresa de Base Tecnológica "Education & Psychology I+D+i y la Editorial EOS. Nació con vocación de convertirse en un referente nacional e internacional de la Psicología y la Educación, y de acercar el conocimiento entre académicos y profesionales aplicados, en el ámbito de la Psicología Educativa y de la Psicopedagogía. Por ello, nuestra revista está especialmente dirigida tanto a investigadores como a profesionales aplicados en dichos ámbitos.

En la actualidad, edita tres números al año. Cada número se edita primero impreso (sólo artículos en español), en Febrero, Junio y Octubre; y posteriormente, se edita la versión electrónica (artículos en inglés y español), en Abril, Septiembre, y Diciembre.
