He also manages an SME called PatterVision, that develops research software&rsquo;s, and coordinates the Icelandic Safer Internet Centre, a part of the EU-Insafe network, funder by The Connecting Europe Facility (former Safer Internet Action Plan), a key EU funding instrument to promote growth, jobs and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at European level. Gudberg is an experienced researcher and has been involved in various national and international research projects related to use of internet and smart technology, cognition and communication, especially concerning the form and structure of human interaction/communication. This includes several EEA, CoE, H2020 and COST projects and coordinating an international research network, with over 35 universities participating (i.e. University of Barcelona, Paris, Milan Bicocca, Denver and Mexico), called MASI (Methodology for the Analysis of Social Interaction). His work includes number of publications in books, journals and proceedings and presentations at international conferences. His academic background is in psychology, methodology and human ethology and he conducted his studies at the University of Iceland, Ecole Doctorate &ndash; University of Paris, and Department of Psychology &ndash; University of Aberdeen.</p><p><br />
<strong>Abstract</strong>: En el marco de los mixed methods en la actualidad, pero a partir de una tradici&oacute;n que se remonta a la d&eacute;cada de los noventa, ha alcanzado un gran auge en la investigaci&oacute;n en Ciencias del Comportamiento, Etolog&iacute;a, Ciencias de la Salud, Ciencias de la Actividad F&iacute;sica y del Deporte, Ciencias de la Educaci&oacute;n, etc., la t&eacute;cnica cuantitativa de an&aacute;lisis de detecci&oacute;n de T-Patterns.<br />
La detecci&oacute;n de T-Patterns se realiza a partir de datos procedentes de registros observacionales, o de cuasiexperimentos, o de experimentos realizados en laboratorio, y se basa en un an&aacute;lisis cuantitativo complejo que va destinado a mostrar la potencial existencia de estructuras que conforman una serie de eventos que ocurren de forma concurrente o secuencial m&aacute;s frecuentemente que lo que se esperar&iacute;a por efecto del azar.<br />
La detecci&oacute;n de T-Patterns ha sido posible a partir del programa THEMETM (Pattern Vision Ltd.), creado por el Prof. Magnus Magnusson (University of Iceland), a lo largo del desarrollo de sus distintas versiones, y acompa&ntilde;ado desde hace un cuarto de siglo por el Prof. Gudberg K. Jonsson.<br />
Se presentar&aacute;n las caracter&iacute;sticas del programa THEME, y se mostrar&aacute;n las novedades de la versi&oacute;n 7, justo terminada o en trance de finalizaci&oacute;n. Se mostrar&aacute;n numerosos ejemplos.<br />
