Two students from each participating institution will be selected to participated and enjoy the activities organized by the platform. Specifically, a 1 week of training per year will be organized, with a new theme each year, providing face-to-face exchanges between leading scientists and PhD students from all over the world.

For the first phase (2024 – 2026), selected applicants will participate in annual, week-long, in-person events hosted by the University of Montpellier (France), in March 2024, and the University of Pretoria (South Africa), in 2025.

Through the economic contributions of the University of Barcelona, the Feed, Protect, Care Global Collaborative PhD platform will fund travel, accommodation, and training costs for 2 early-stage PhD students currently enrolled in the University of Barcelona who will participate in those 2 training sessions.
