Les informamos que el día 30 de mayo de 2024 se celebrará el V Congreso de la Escuela Internacional de Doctorado de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC).

El Congreso de la Escuela Internacional de Doctorado es un evento presencial para cuyo objetivo es intercambiar experiencias entre doctorandos de las diferentes ramas de conocimiento fomentando el debate y la comunicación. Este año reflexionaremos acerca de la inteligencia artificial desde una perspectiva ética y legislativa y también práctica; se abordarán las claves más importantes para una eficaz comunicación científica a la sociedad; y se presentarán pautas para un desarrollo saludable de los estudios de doctorado.

El congreso será presencial. El comité científico seleccionará un conjunto de ponencias que los estudiantes presentarán en las sesiones orales o de “póster en 3 minutos”.

El programa del Congreso que contará con dos conferenciantes invitados: Mar Moreno (Profesora Titular de Derecho Administrativo de la URJC) y Fernando Valladares (Investigador CSIC y Profesor Asociado URJC) y dos formadores para los talleres prácticos: Antonio Sanz Montemayor (Catedrático de Ciencia de la Computación e Inteligencia Artificial URJC) y Ainhoa Romero Hernández (Responsable de Universidad Saludable URJC).

La fecha límite para el envío de resúmenes (con el objetivo de seleccionar las comunicaciones orales y los pósteres) será el próximo 15 de abril. Para aquellos que solo deseen asistir, la fecha límite de inscripción será el próximo 10 de mayo. Ambas gestiones se realizarán en la web del congreso:

We inform you that on May 30, 2024, the V Congress of the International Doctoral School of the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) will be held.

The Congress of the International Doctoral School is an in-person event whose objective is to exchange experiences between doctoral students from different branches of knowledge, promoting debate and communication. This year we will reflect on artificial intelligence from an ethical and legislative perspective as well as a practical one; The most important keys for effective scientific communication to society will be addressed; and guidelines for a healthy development of doctoral studies will be presented.

The congress will be in person. The scientific committee will select a set of papers that the students will present in the oral or “poster in 3 minutes” sessions.

The Congress program will feature two guest speakers: Mar Moreno (Professor of Administrative Law at the URJC) and Fernando Valladares (CSIC Researcher and Associate Professor URJC) and two trainers for the practical workshops: Antonio Sanz Montemayor (Professor of Science Computing and Artificial Intelligence URJC) and Ainhoa Romero Hernández (Head of the Healthy University URJC).

The deadline for submitting abstracts (with the aim of selecting oral communications and posters) will be next April 15. For those who only wish to attend, the registration deadline will be next May 10. Both procedures will be carried out on the congress website:
